Buzzworks have recently taken over regattas at Largs Yacht Haven, where our plans are to re-open in 2010 with an exciting larger premises, very similar to Scotts at Troon Yacht Haven.

The venue, which was formerly Café Bonne, has been designed with a continental theme - echoing its initial style from the 1980s when the directors first owned the premises. There is a definitive emphasis on all things French from the external view with the beautiful new shutters on the first floor, colourful window boxes and canopy. Inside Dome continues this style with Parisian framed photos and café/ bistro style furnishings. With an emphasis on simple food and value for money Dome is a welcome addition to the Prestwick scene.

Treehouse opened its doors after a vast refurbishment on the 6th June 2008. Treehouse has been totally transformed with a glamourous new look. Stylish new décor and furnishings brighten the venue and the dining area is comfortable and relaxing. There is a new Party Room on which no expense has been spared - designed as a private area for parties of up to 20. The menu has a fantastic variety of dishes prepared using the freshest local ingredients and the drinks list offers just as much choice in its selection of premium brands, cocktails, wines and champagne by the glass. Open from 9am for breakfast, coffees and pastries, Treehouse even offers a take away service for those on the move.

The 'Independent Multiple Operator of the Year' title was awarded to Buzzworks by the Scottish Licensed Trade News at a glittering Award Ceremony in the Glasgow Hilton on Thursday 16th of October 2008. This follows on from winning the 'Independent Multiple Operator of The Year' at the prestigious DRAM magazine awards earlier in the year.

The awards comes after a busy year, with Elliots in Prestwick and Scotts and Lido in Troon all continuing to be hugely popular, and the acquisition of a further two premises in South Ayrshire, Treehouse in Ayr and Dome in Prestwick.

Elliots Bar & Restaurant recently hosted an extremely glamorous evening Based on the smash hit movie Sex & The City.

Customers flocked to Elliots in their cocktail dresses and dinner suits and were welcomed by our very own 'Mr Big', who dispensed goody bags on arrival.

The evening commenced with a professional fashion show by Wish of Prestwick & Glasgow who supplied a fantastic selection of Evening and Cocktail dresses together with fabulous accessories by Jools of Ayr. Twelve beautiful models embraced the mini catwalk exhibiting an array of designer dresses by Emma Savahl, Dawn Stretton and Ruth Tarvydas. This was followed by a superb solo performance by one of the models who sang a rendition of Duffy's 'Mercy' and Amy Winehouse's 'Valerie' to the large receptive audience in Elliots.

The Buzzworks bartenders who donned their muscular physiques in fitted black waistcoats and black bow ties worked tirelessly throughout the evening and sold a record 750 cocktails and 190 bottles of champagne. They used their wealth of knowledge to create signature cocktails which were all aptly named after designers who featured in the hit movie, Ferragamo Flirt, Manolo Blahnik & Pinky Cosmopolitan.

Throughout the evening there were was a number of prizes to be won with the top prize being a trip to New York which was very kindly supported by Stewart Travel, Prestwick. This luxury trip was won on the stroke of Midnight by Linzi Caufield of Prestwick.

Buzzworks Sales & Marketing Manager, Nicola Sykes this was the most successful theme night held at Elliots and we would like to thank our customers for their continued support in establishing Elliots as Ayrshire's most glamorous over 25's venue.
